ABOUT Me
In my spare time, I stay creative through DJing, where I enjoy creating mashups, edits, and putting together mixes. I also run a charity DJ school, teaching both adults and children with learning disabilities, social anxiety, or those who simply benefit from a safe, welcoming space to learn, connect, and meet like-minded people. It’s something I’m very passionate about, as it combines music with helping others build confidence and social skills in a supportive environment.
I also have a wide range of creative and hands-on hobbies that keep me inspired. This includes 3D printing and painting models, collecting and listening to music, and enjoying retro gaming. I have a strong interest in problem-solving, and you’ll often find me researching how to fix or understand something—whether that’s a mechanical watch (which I also collect), a PC, or just generally how things work. I’m naturally curious and enjoy the process of learning, troubleshooting, and improving things wherever I can.
Outside of creative work and personal interests, I place a lot of value on family time. I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, including taking them swimming and teaching them, drawing on my background as a competitive swimmer for a local club in my youth and my experience as a swimming teacher while in college. We also enjoy walking our pet pug Beau, and taking annual trips to VW shows in our 1970s classic campervan, where we camp for the weekend, enjoy live music, explore rows of classic VW cars and vans, and spend quality time together in a relaxed, festival-style atmosphere that we all look forward to every year.

DIGITAL DJ TIPS (2017-2026)

I worked on creating engaging course materials, marketing assets, and branding visuals that helped bring the brand’s learning experience to life in a clear and consistent way. I also developed animations and visual overlays for live streams and promotional videos, and edited video and photographic content for use across digital platforms. Alongside the creative work, I analysed customer survey feedback to produce insight-driven reports that helped shape content and improve the learner experience. I managed CRM systems, customer communications, and weekly newsletters, providing friendly and reliable customer support to learners and ensuring messages were clear, helpful, and timely. I also moderated live stream discussions and helped build a positive, welcoming community. Drawing on over 20 years of experience as a DJ, I was able to offer practical, real-world advice, share useful tips from the booth, and support students with grounded guidance based on long-term industry experience.

I led product design, merchandising, and branding initiatives, helping to shape a clear and consistent identity across the product range. A key part of the role involved growing online sales, where I successfully doubled Amazon revenue by optimising product listings, improving presentation, and refining the overall customer journey. I also developed and maintained the company website, strengthening its digital presence and making it easier for customers to discover and purchase products.
Alongside the marketing and product work, I handled day-to-day customer support, including responding to enquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive customer experience from order through to delivery. I also managed shipments and logistics coordination, helping keep fulfilment smooth and efficient.
Stockport College (2000-2004)
ND and HND Graphic Design
During my four years studying Graphic Design at Stockport College, I completed both my ND and HND qualifications, developing a strong foundation in core design principles with a particular focus on concept development, typography, illustration, and page layout. I gained hands-on experience using industry-standard software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and page design tools, applying these skills across a range of creative briefs. The course helped me build both my creative thinking and technical ability, guiding projects from initial ideas through to finished outcomes while strengthening my understanding of visual communication and design execution.
